Ministries

  

Audio Visual Ministry is a team that serves the audio and visual needs of our congregation. They are behind the scene, running the lights, cameras, mics, duplication and special effects.   
Budget and Finance Team is an elected group of individuals that oversee the finances of LWBC.   
Building and Grounds Ministry is a group that is centered on the needs and upkeep of our building and the campus grounds. This covers maintenance, landscaping, special projects.   
Children's Ministry is an energetic group ministering to ages 0 through grade 5. This group utilizes puppetry, drama and music to engage children and point them to Christ.   
Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) is a community group, sponsored by LWBC, whose interest is motorcycles and the Lord.   
Christian Sportsmen Fellowship (CSF) is a co-ed group that shares a love for the outdoors and God. They enjoy a monthly meeting and meal on the first Wednesday (see calendar) of each month.  Other activities include target shoot, safety courses, Annual Wild Game Dinner, archery tournements.    

Clowns of Glory Ministry spread God's word through laughter using skits, stories, music and illusions. They offer unique clown performances for churches and community outreach.

  
Deacon Ministry is a group of men dedicated to serve the Lord by overseeing the caring ministry of the church. This includes benevolence, visiting the sick, spiritual needs of those under their care and promoting unity within the church.

Guest Services is a team who reaches out to visitors new to our church and within our community. There are many facets to this group - greeters, parking lot, Information Desk, and Coffee Brigade.  
Meal Ministry is a group that is dedicated to planning, preparation and delivery of fellowship meals. This includes our wonderful Wednesday evening meal prior to small group meetings.   
Media Center/Library Ministry is a team that works hard to make our media center the very best, with the latest in books and dvds.   
Men's Ministry represents the men of LWBC and their various ministries to include a weekly home-bible study (rotates at various homes), yearly conferences aimed at Mens issues   
Personnel Team is an elected team of people focused on all aspects of human resource-type issues for our staff here at LWBC.  
Prayer Ministry is a group on it's knees for the Kindgdom. Count on someone from this group praying at any given time during the day. Meetings specifically for prayer are held on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am in the Worship Center, Wednesday evenings at  7 pm in Room 103, and Sunday evenings at 6 pm in Room 100.   
Prison Ministry reaches out with Jesus' forgiving arms to encircle individuals incarcerated in local prisons/jail.   
Salvage Ministry is a creative percussion ministry that uses trash cans, wooden poles, brooms and other "instruments" to share the love of Christ in a way that is exciting and approachable.   
Worship Ministry encompasses our Praise Team and other individuals desiring to use their musical gifts for the Lord.   
Young Adult Ministry (H20) is a ministry reaching out to ages 18-25. The group meets weekly in a home for fellowship, games and great food!   
Youth Ministry is our ministry focusing on young people, from grades 6 through 12.  They meet three times weekly (Sunday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings) for worship through music, studying the Word, fellowship, games and special events.
