CAN FOOD COLLECTION
Due to many needs in our own church family, we re in desperate
need of canned goods, and all types of non-perishable foods
(paper towels, toilet paper, shampoos, clothes detergents,
etc...to help our own church members at this time. Please
bring what you are able to share with others and place in our
large orange barrels at the Welcome Center. If you feel
led to help in another way with gas cars or other items please
call the office and speak with Pastor Philip.'
SALT
(Sound and Light Team)
Anyone interested in joining the AV Team Ministry (SALT) meet up
in the balcony on Wednesday's at 6:00 pm. No experience
needed. Please call Scott if you are interested at
674-0617.
CELEBRATE
RECOVERY FELLOWSHIP
and meetings are here at LWBC on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and
Sundays at 7:00 p.m. You do not have to be a member - just
come on and join us if you would like and get plugged in!
OPERATION BANDANAS
Offer inspiration, encouragement, strength and comfort to our
armed forces serving in the war. To let our men and women
know they are supported and appreciated. The Bandana
Ministry with the Soldier's Psalms on camouflage are sold at
$3.00 each. Our Carolina Baptist Association is leading
this up. If you need more information or want to join in
this effort contact Annette Heatherly at 290-2584
CHRISTIAN SPORTSMAN
FELLOWSHIP
along with the families of the men's Cover 7 Bible Study are
having a family picnic to honor a young pastor who grew up real
close to our church. His name is Scott Owens, pastor of
North Side Baptist Church in Fort Stockton, TX. He is
friends with Alan and Lynn Brian. This picnic will be held
Thursday, June 12th, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to
join us for this potluck picnic at the picnic shed. Bring
a chair and come fellowship
